Anabelle grew up on farms across several states, getting an intimate look at the struggles, tenacity, and often-overlooked tenderness of the American farmer. In her series, “The Farmer”, she attempts to capture these qualities, while adding florals, representative of a lifetime of inner beauty.
Most of her art, though, is largely stream of consciousness and not necessarily “that deep”. She enjoys when others find meaning in her pieces, even if she didn’t intend it, but also feels that art doesn’t have to have a deeper meaning to be enjoyed.
