DIRT = HISTORY
POWER = COMMUNITY
POWER = PLACE
The dirt is more than soil, it is a living
Archive, a record of Memory, a record
of Labor, a record of Survival.
The Camp Hill Red Dirt Biennale emerged from the desire of a group of local artists, citizens, students & educators to establish a weekend devoted to local & regional art, music, culture, and history – to transform different locations across Camp Hill into places for reflection, connection and imagination.
The hope was to invite a new way of looking at a space, and to consider how memory, community, and land shape the power we carry.
